David
is a Sidney native. He has over
ten years of sales experience
and is a past recipient of the
Peerless Spirit of Excellence
Award. He is a graduate of Sidney
High School. David and his wife
of twenty-five years, Laura, have
three children and four grandchildren.
Active in the community, he currently
serves as chairman of the City
of Sidney Zoning Board of Appeals.
He is also a volunteer firefighter
with the Shelby County Fire Department,
where he serves as a Lieutenant.
For the past eleven years he has
served as Secretary of the Shelby
County Firefighters Association.
He was a recipient of the 1999
Pusher Award, was named 2004 Firefighter
of the year and was honored in
2005 with the Distinguished Service
Award.
Fleming formerly served as chairman
of the Disaster Services Department
of the Shelby County Chapter of
the American Red Cross. He is
past president of the Sidney Sunset
Kiwanis and the Council of Religious
Education. He is a member of Moose
Lodge 568 and he and his wife
attend the Sidney Church of God.
